Bluewater Sailing Club’s Maine Cruise

2019

Brought to you by Sue Struss & Starr Tofil

The underlying goal of this cruise is to enable sailors to enjoy sailing from one Harbor to the next, not having long legs that require motoring to arrive before sunset. Shorter legs mean later morning starts, allowing the wind to fill-in. Additionally sailors will have a chance to explore the harbors offerings. Part of the cruise area will have lobster pots with toggles, a second buoy tied to the pot, often with a short length of rope between the two. Don’t split the two if you don’t want to get fouled by the pots.  Distances are approximate and latitude and longitude are from “The Cruising Guide to the Maine Coast”5th Edition.

Good Times! Good Sailing! Good Friends!

See comments in the Cruise Guide that is forth coming.
