July 4th South

Schedule:
July 4 - On your own for fireworks in harbor of your choice or cruise to Cuttyhunk
July 5 - Cuttyhunk. 1730 potluck dinner and BYOB at home of Win and Martha Sanford
July 6 - Sail to Padanaram for visit, swim, then onto New Bedford for overnight. Cocktails at 1730 at Pope’s Island Marina, aboard Pouchy
July 7 & 8 - New Bedford Folk Festival

Notes:
Moorings at Cuttyhunk cannot be scheduled in advance.

Moorings fill up fast in New Bedford for this fabulous folk fest but still time to reserve. Pope’s Island Marina offers the most options where Penny Raimondo is in charge of mooring reservations. She can be reached at (508) 979-1456, or book on-line. We plan to have a reception aboard Pouchy on the docks here Friday evening. Other mooring options are also available.

Tickets to the Folk Festival can be found on line at the link above. The last day to get the reduced fare for the fest is June 23: $30 for 2 day pass, $22.50 for 1 day. After that they go to $30 and $40. Saturday has a great line up with Garnet Rogers, Dori Freeman and John Gorka, just to name a few of the stars.

Cruisers: Please RSVP with your registration (there is no fee for this event) by June 30 and let us know what type of potluck dish (appetizer, salad, entrée or desert) you will bring to Winn and Martha's  home on Cuttyhunk.

Non-members must sign and return the Event Waiver Form prior to the event.
